Birthday gift guide
A birthday gift starring the birthday child
Send a few photos of the birthday boy or girl. We draw them into 12 coloring pages, real moments plus new adventures, with their name on the cover. You see every page before we print.
Why it works as a birthday present
It is all about them
They open the book and find themselves on every page: their own moments, plus adventures they have never had.
Nobody else has one
Their name on the cover, their face inside, your dedication on its own page. It is made for one child only.
It lasts past the party
Pages to color long after the cake is gone, and a book to keep when every page is done.
No surprises for you
You see and approve every page before we print, so you know exactly what they will unwrap.
Choose by age
Tell us their age in the studio and the lines follow it. Here is what changes on the page.
2-3 yrs
Chunky lines, big shapes
For a 2nd or 3rd birthday: big shapes and thick lines, easy to fill with chunky crayons.
- Lines about 1.8 mm thick
- About 8–22 areas to color on a page
4-5 yrs
Classic lines, playful detail
A gift for a 4 or 5 year old? Classic lines and playful details, easy to stay inside.
- Lines about 1.3 mm thick
- About 20–45 areas to color on a page
6-8 yrs
More detail to discover
For 6 to 8: more to discover on every page, great with coloured pencils and markers.
- Lines about 0.95 mm thick
- About 40–85 areas to color on a page
9+ yrs
Intricate, patient pages
For 9 and up: fine, intricate pages for kids who like a patient challenge.
- Lines about 0.7 mm thick
- About 80–160 areas to color on a page
Not sure? Ask the parents. Older kids who love detail can go one band up.

Card message ideas
Add a handwritten-style gift card in your bag and write your own words, in Arabic or English, up to 200 characters. Need a start?
Card idea: Happy birthday! This whole book is about you. Color it your way.
Card idea: A new year and new adventures. Happy birthday to the hero of this story!
Card idea: For the birthday star: color outside the lines as much as you like. We love you!
Card or dedication?
The card comes with the gift. The dedication is printed on its own page at the start of the book, up to 160 characters, so it stays with them. You can have both.
Buying for someone else's child?
Aunts, uncles, grandparents and family friends: here is how to do it without spoiling the surprise for the birthday child.
Ask the parents for 3 or more photos
Bright, clear photos where the face is easy to see, and the child's age so the lines fit.
Make it with a parent
The studio asks whoever adds the photos to confirm they are the child's parent or guardian. So let a parent add the photos and tick that box, then take it from there.
Approve it and send it to them
The same preview and approval before print. Add gift wrap and your card, then ship it straight to their address.
Gift extras
Add them in your bag before you pay. Prices are set in the shop and shown there.
Gift wrap
Arrives wrapped and ready to hand over.
Handwritten-style gift card
Your message, printed in a hand script.
An extra copy
The same book again, for Teta's house or to keep one clean.
Crayon pack
So they can start coloring the moment they open it.
Order ahead of the party
Every book is drawn for one child, checked by you and only then printed, so it cannot be made on the day. Start a little early, approve the book in good time, and leave room for delivery to their governorate.
See delivery timesThe studio saves as you go: add the photos today, and finish the pages when you have ten quiet minutes.
Make their birthday a story.
